Job Title: National Health IT Systems Specialist / Objective 3 Lead
Department/Location: Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Practice, Fiji
Reports To: Team Leader / Home Office Senior Management / works closely with MHMS Digital Health Division, SPC technical leadership, and IBTCI technical advisors.
Type: Consultancy Consultant (This is a one-year contract with level of effort estimated at 9 months)
Overview: The National Health IT Systems Specialist will lead implementation of Objective 3 activities to strengthen laboratory digitization, interoperability, and data use for decision-making. The Specialist will coordinate closely with MHMS Digital Health Division and national stakeholders to support CDC laboratory digitization through expansion of the StarLIMS platform and ensure integration with national surveillance and health information systems.
This position is contingent upon award.

Minimum Requirements:
Education: Degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Working Environment: Work is typically performed in an office environment, with some time spent in the field.
Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities of a team of individuals and subcontractors.
Physical Requirements: This is largely a sedentary position that requires the ability to speak, hear, see, and lift small objects up to 20 lbs.
Travel: International travel may be required.
